Welcome
to my renewable energy page. Like you I was sick of high energy costs, so
I decided to get off grid. In my quest I found that there were ALOT of products
to choose from. The only problem was $$$ They Cost Too Much. I'm on a budget!
So what do I do now? I know.... Do it myself. I know it sounds complicated,
but with the right resources its not bad at all!
I found several DIY guides. Some way better than others. Some cover wind power. Some cover solar power, and some cover both. I found that is really not that difficult or costly to start generating your own renewable energy.

Earth4Energy is one of the leading guide to building your own renewable energy sources. Their easy to use product guide takes you through the various steps needed to be completed to create your own solar powered energy source or wind powered energy source and even gives you clues as to where to find the best deals on the materials you're going to need making them the best in the business. Not only do their guides come with detailed instructions and helpful hints to lower the costs you face with renewable energy, but they also come with excelled support and when I had troubles installing my software they came with solutions in no time at all! I loved their guide to building solar powered and wind powered energy sources because it was cost effective and I didn't end up spending more than one hundred on the software itself and it was a great deal for the informative information that was given. Apparently, I'm not the only satisfied customer either, their site offers many testimonials to the quality of the product they offer and the support they provide with their product as well. The guide provided to me by Earth4Energy was easy to understand and simple enough that I didn't need help from anyone else in figuring out the plan I was going to use to build my renewable energy source. |

While MakePowerAtHome came in second place for me as far as guide quality and overall web site usefulness goes, it was a close call. MakePowerAtHome discussed the same useful techniques as Earth4Energy and even offered a money back guarantee which was both reassuring and useful for those who decided building their own renewable energy source was too complicated. MakePowerAtHome like Earth4Energy provided resources to help build both solar power sources as well as wind power sources and was also very supportive, however their descriptions weren't quite as detailed and didn't help quite as much as Earth4Energy and overall wasn't too shabby. MakePowerAtHome also offered the more expensive of the two products, which wasn't something I was particularly interested in at all especially being as Earth4Energy I felt gave better instructions as well as more helpful support. However, MakePowerAtHome is still sufficient to complete the basic task which is cutting costs on your energy bill and learning to use your own renewable energy source rather than gas powered energy which is quickly becoming more and more expensive with less and less benefits, and is also harmful to the environment. Another difference between the two is that my first choice Earth4Energy.com told me where to find my materials in the most cost efficient way, where as MakePowerAtHome neglected to do so. |

The third guide I reviewed was DIY Home Solar Power I was very disappointed in this site overall, between the grammatical errors left and right on the web site they charge almost as much as the first site Earth4Energy, but instead of offering a guide to building both wind and solar energy, their guide covers the mere basics of solar powered energy and leaves room for a lot of mistakes in the process. Their descriptions were not as conclusive as either of the first two web sites and I felt as if their web site was simply thrown together in order to make a quick buck. If you aren’t too worried about quality and just need something simple and dry, DIY Home Solar Power may be right for you. But if you're looking for the most bang for your buck without over spending, Earth4Energy and MakePowerAtHome are both much better resources to use. The support at DIY Home Solar Power even seems highly incompetent and I'm not certain I would trust their word in helping me find the best and most cost efficient way to construct a home energy source that was renewable and eco friendly. Perhaps the aesthetics of the web site and guide itself threw me off unfairly and made me assume the worst giving me a bias opinion but if nothing else I know for certain that Earth4Energy is a far better source when it comes to renewable energy sources. |

The
first two guides reviewed were both great resources to look to in order
to find out which solution is best for you, and which will safe you as an
individual the most money, In some cases these generators can even help
you earn money if you create enough excess energy. Who would have thought
you would be collecting money from the people who at one point and time
charged you hundreds of dollars in fees to keep your home running smoothly.
Both sources are completely eco friendly and don't leave potent pollutants
to tear up our ozone instead they provide us with guilt-free and cost efficient
energy that can run our entire homes! With the help of one of the guides
we reviewed for you, you too can cut your energy costs and live green.
